Alana De La Garza's beauty has left an impression even on tiny screens. Her parents are both Irish and Mexican American. The actress was born in Columbus, Ohio, on the 26th of December in 1976. De La Garza moved soon to Texas to study the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't stay long in Texas before moving to Florida, Orlando. In Orlando, she played various roles ranging from local independent films to international commercials. In spite of the minor role, she found acting as her true interest. After that, she relocated into New York in 2001 and got her first job in acting in the role of Rosa Santos on All My Children which is a soap for the daytime. Through the first half of 2000 she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, her first big-screen series aired on The Mountain. She was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate enough to be a part of a cast that included some of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. Her most memorable role came in 2006 on Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared in 85 episode. The character later re-entered the short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards including the award for Best Supporting Actress on TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. The actress was awarded an Impact Award in 2008 for her exceptional performance in a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time after. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she appeared on the NBC's dark and tense drama Do No Harm. After only two episodes, the show was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory as well as being Italian by heritage. Milano was raised in the strict, religious home of her family. Milano was able to begin her acting profession at the age of seven, when her babysitter took her on an audition for acting. Four girls were chosen out of more than 1000 hopefuls. Milano appeared in advertisements on television and off-Broadway, including the American musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
